Worst curry I have ever had. Disgusting.
So, the two of us went to Krishna's Inn with a huge craving for a good Masala Dosa and I have to admit the place exceeded the wildest of our expectations! Be it the crisp dosa, the very tasty masala with the perfect consistency of potato, the coconut chutney or the fingerlicking good mango chutney -- I was given everything I had craved for, done to perfection! And that too at such reasonable prices.. I am floored, won't be surprised to find us heading back to Krishna's again and again!
Its a South Indian restaurant very typical of what can be found in downtown Kochi or Chennai. Lots of really good Dhosa and best of all is the large Thali platter you get for £10. The service is informal, maybe a little rough around the edges but they do a bit more. The mutton curry needs a bit more potency, otherwise fine. Nice premises in general.
I'm a proper keralite who happened to go to this restaurant today evening for a take away and I was very disappointed with the food they have served and also the way the customer was looked after.
The masala dosa I've ordered was nowhere near to a proper masala dosa and the vada which i ordered was also tastless.They served 'sambar' instead of 'chutney' to go with the vada even though I've asked them for chutney.they also were not happy to give me a receipt(Tax evasion?).I would never go back to this place again.I think they are cheating all the customers with what they call "Kerala Food".stay away.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times now and I find the food of a consistantly high quality. South Indian Food is very different to the standard Baltis and Bhunas of other Indian Restaurants, and Krishna's Inn explicate this deliciously. It is good value for money and the staff are very friendly. My only snub is that they whack a service charge onto the bill, which is not an authentic Indian practice! I like having the choice to tip and I usually tip well, but Krishna's Inn shoot themselves in the foot here. Don't miss the Goan Fish Curry or the Prawn Masala Dosa!
